Ylenia Gallo

Ylenia Gallo is a biotechnologist with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, completed in Italy in 2020, and a Master of Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary. She began her career in long-term care as a COVID-19 screener and later supported infection prevention and control initiatives. She then worked for three years as a staff coordinator for medical personnel at Westside Long Term Care Home in Toronto, during its transitions from Revera to Extendicare and later Southbridge Health Care. During her master’s program, she developed interests in business management and regulatory affairs, received the Robert Church Legacy Award, and won the CAPSTONE Business Pitch Competition. Since May 2026, she has supported Pulmvita’s Quality team.
